Zizzi Finchley

202-208 Regents Park Rd, London N3 3HP, UK – 020 3719 4452

This review is mainly for customer service especially a lady called Jitka who was forever smiling and pleasant and probably one of the most hardworking members of staff. The manager of the branch was also very good and generally it set up great. The food was really good and the atmosphere is really relaxing. Would come back here again and again 🙌🏽

The rissotto was delicious and the sweet quite the same. The place is clean with a very pleasant atmosphere. The attention prompt and polite. Complete recipe. We will definitely go back.

Monkville Parade, Finchley Rd, London NW11 0AL, UK – 020 8905 5353

Went to Lavash for Sunday lunch food served was Persian which included as starters a cheese dip an aurbergine dip a fresh salad and mushrooms we were served with this fresh flat bread which was being baked on the premises. Very healthy and fresh. For mains we shared between 12 of us lamb shanks served with Persian rice a chicken dish and a grilled fish. All this was also very healthy They served alcohol but I liked the selection of fresh juices which h included carrot, carrot celery and apple and a few others. The only thing I was not happy with was desert which was apple crumble but found it far too sweet but on the whole was pleased with the service and the food.

Delicious and authentic food! Great service from the second we walked in, smiling and happy to help staff. I’ll for sure be a regular for the Chicken Baghali Polo! 5 stars doesn’t do it enough justice

dim t

3 Heath St, London NW3 6TP, UK – 020 7435 0024

AMAZING experience at Dim T. The manager was so helpful and welcoming. One of the dishes we ordered was unavailable so the manager gave us the option of replacing it with a different dish for free. The food arrived promptly and the service was fab. We even got a complimentary cocktail for dessert as I was unsure of whether to get one! Will definitely return!!

I paid 6 quid for a huge takeaway salmon and rice stir-fry, the waiter (Pablo) was really nice and patient with me ordering, as well as lettimg me know about the small two minute delay in my order. Very nice place and amazing value for money. I dont even think ill finish this meal, it's too much haha Nice place, will return!

Woodlands Hampstead

102 Heath St, Hampstead, London NW3 1DR, UK – 020 7794 3080

Nice decor and friendly service. The food was not great which was surprising as it did take a long time to come. I only enjoyed the Grilled mushrooms which was exceptionally good, great taste and cooked well, the peppers were a lovely addition. Otherwise everything else was poor. The Paneer tikka masala had an awful spice that did not make it taste nice. It was mainly sauce with 6 extremely small cubes of paneer. The peshwari naan was probably the worst I've had, hardly any filling on flavouring it might as well have been a butter naan.

Delicious South Indian food. Always good quality. They have a vegan menu too.

Indian Rasoi Restaurant

7 Fortis Green, London N2 9HG, UK – 020 8883 9093

Always friendly and effective service and always great food. Will always recommend this place. Go enjoy!

Pleasantly Surprised! I had read a lot for reviews about the restaurant on line and many reviewers had recently been upset about the service, I rang and ordered a take away - I was told to expect it to be around 40 mins, when I got to the restaurant 5 minutes before time - I was politely asked to take a seat,(I also have to say that every table in the restaurant was reserved). I was only waiting for a couple of minutes before my bagged order was handed over. The food was great, I really enjoyed it. I would definitely use again. I think people need to recognise that perhaps the food cook time takes a little longer as everything tasted like it had been freshly prepared, not just taken out of the freezer. So if you decide to visit - be prepared for a longer wait on food as quality takes time! It's also not going to everyone's taste as some of the dishes do feel like they have a similar sauce base and the portions are smaller but personally I think just as filling.

675 Finchley Rd, London NW2 2JP, UK – 020 7794 8899

Have visited many times and each time the food is awesome! The staff are extremely personable and make the entire eating out experience most memorable. If I could rate them 10 stars it would reflect what a great Bonoo experience it is.

The food here is truly delicious. We love Indian food and have never tasted anything like this. The paneer is super creamy and the salmon and meats cooked to perfection! The service is genuinely excellent and friendly in a relaxed atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend dining here and shall return for more delicious food!

Best Reviewed Italian Pasta and Pizza Restaurants

32-34, Rosslyn Hill, Hampstead, London NW3 1NH, UK – 020 7794 2184

Excellent location, quite a few parking spaces across the road costing about 2.80 an hour. Food was amazing only came in for a full breakfast, full pot of tea given with fresh juice with the breakfast, service was good and efficient. One slight drawback was time it took to receive food after ordering good 10-15mins.. I was also fairly hungry at the time so naturally eager to eat. Definitely recommend. Dinner and lunch is a next try!

Carluccio's is beautifully situated on Rosslyn Hill, just down from Hampstead High Street, so it's easy to reach yet still at the heart of gorgeous scenery. At peak times it can be quite busy, but it's rarely impossible to find a seat. They have an abundance of outdoor seating, and the indoor seating area is quite spacious. The prices are reasonable, and their coffee is delicious!

La Rugoletta

59 Church Ln, East Finchley, London N2 8DR, UK – 020 8815 1743

Rustic cafe style pasta pizza etc. Just had mains decided not to have anything else, desserts did not really tempt. Quite tasty but unrefined menu. No licence so staff suggested we cross the road to small off licence/general store for wine or beer. Charged corkage for two cans of beer! Very friendly helpfull staff.

Great pizza and great calzone, and super fast service! I'm looking forwards to coming back. I hear the sea bass is amazing and I definitely want to try it. The pasta looks great too! Just so you know: this is a bring your own, so there's no wine or beer on the menu, which is great IMHO.

Carluccio's Brent Cross

Fenwick Ltd, Brent Cross Shopping Centre, Prince Charles Dr, London NW4 3FN, UK – 020 8203 6844

The service may vary from time to time, and can be poor if it was busy. Still a good place to grab for lunch if shopping at Brent X, with good quality pasta dishes, Most of the time. It is not cheap but there is a set lunch menu option.

Services was slow, food was not bad but little expensive for what we ordered.

Alice House West Hampstead

283-285 West End Ln, London NW6 1RD, UK – 020 7431 8818

It's a nice pub inside which although far from 'old boozer' style, retains plenty of character, and is very nicely furnished. In particular, I like the filament bulbs. There are the usual 'friendly modern pub' choices: board games, cocktails, burgers... The menu is often pretty good, and the food usually very nice, despite the fact they have a physically very small kitchen. It's very popular with the young & trendy West Hampstead crowd, and it's hard to find space to hang-out unless you're there early enough to grab a table. All in all, it's a nice enough pub for a place like West Hampstead, but the high street could really do with one or two more traditional inns like some of those up the hill in Hampstead. Wine is expensive; they only serve 125ml or 175ml. but pricing seems to reflect what should be 175ml and 250ml - it's a rather profiteering approach.

Very nice pub with very friendly staff. We had a lovely evening and the music was well chosen. I liked it very much.

The Beaten Docket

50-56 Cricklewood Broadway, London NW2 3ET, UK – 020 8450 2972

Had dinner when England was playing against Croatia. Nick was trying his best to get everyone seated and make sure that everyone is happy. This is what I call great customer service. The food was great but the service made it my visit an amazing experience! Well done team!

A good old fashion pub. Food is great. Drinks are reasonably priced. Never seen any trouble in.there. please visit

Barnet Chinese Restaurants

Kaifeng Restaurant

51 Church Rd, London NW4 4DU, UK – 020 8203 7888

This is a unique place! Really wonderful food, decor, professional staff and good location. Well done!

The meal was excellent and the staff although not that attentive were very pleasant and had time to talk to us at then end of the meal which was a nice touch. Food was delightful and on a par with non kosher Chinese food (at better Chinese restaurants), but did feel the cost was quite high, but was happy to pay it as we had a really nice time.

The Good Earth Express

335 West End Ln, London NW6 1RS, UK – 020 7433 3111

I love this Chinese - it's my local favourite. Main reason for this is the amazing vegetarian dishes - the way they make the veggie chicken is just unbeatable. And though it's expensive, this makes it massively worth it for me! I just cook my own rice at home.

Great food but priced like a proper sit in restaurant. Stopped by after a trip, order took about 15/20 mins. Food was tasty however, being a takeaway only place, there's no justification for restaurant prices (lower overheads, etc.). Alas not good value for money.

Man Chui III Chinese Restaurant

84 Ballards Ln, London N3 2DL, UK – 020 8349 2400

Acceptable food, not great and not worth a repeat visit.. Quick service but felt like the waiting staff were a bit too attentive. Several of them seemed to be hanging around only metres from the table and constantly passing by. Overall it was ok and reasonably priced, good portion sizes but the dishes were all very similar and some didn't seem that fresh, the tempura was dry and looked like it had been standing under a lamp for a couple of hours. Could do much better in Finchley.

This is a really splendid restaurant, a jewel among the indifferent restaurants of North London. Sadly, a discontented and malicious customer has recently orchestrated a campaign of negative reviews which are fake news, pure fiction. What do you call a customer who tries to get away with not paying a bill of less than £9? The person eventually paid when threatened with the police. Now there are all these rubbish reviews by this unfortunate person and her louche friends (unless they are fake people, of course).

Barnet Vegetarian or Vegan Restaurants

S3, Brent Cross Shopping Centre, Hendon, London NW4 3NB, UK – 020 8457 9300

Nice and healthy food and nice atmosphere in this restaurant. Pleasant staff. I really enjoy the morrocon meatballs.

I just ordered an Uber eats , I ordered the Leon baked fries, original hummus and lastly the vegan sweet potato falafel. The fries were not hot and didn't really do it for me. Hummus and flat bread is a standard combo so I wasn't really surprised by anything there, you can't really go wrong. But what really stood out was the vegan sweet potato falafel box, my taste buds were tingling and it also tasted very fresh. There was a lemon piece in the box which totally rounded of the dish well. Portion sizes aren't bad and delivery was great. All in all not a bad purchase. Will definitely be ordering again.

Wagamama Hampstead

58-62 Heath St, London NW3 1EN, UK – 020 7433 0366

We only went in for dessert, but got some free edamame! Thank you! Lovely service.

Classic Wagamama but very large so usually good option for kids and large parties.

Brent Cross Shopping Centre, Prince Charles Dr, London NW4 3FP, UK – 020 8202 2666

Always have great service but was so impressed with our last visit and with Marco for being such a great waiter that I had to post my appreciation! So attentive and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. Thanks Marco! (Also the food was amazing as usual!)

Really delicious food and very friendly service. Highly recommend the Shirodashe Ramen.

The Spaniards Inn

Spaniards Rd, Hampstead, London NW3 7JJ, UK – 020 8731 8406

Beautiful looking and old fashioned pub. It's a very welcome stop off for dog walkers as is a dog friendly venue. Great selection of beers, and a modern menu full of traditional "pub grub". Service is polite and efficient. Barstaff make a good and natural effort to make you feel welcome. Highly recommend for those in search of a Sunday roast or in this current heatwave, looking for a pub garden and a cold pint.

Traditional pub with ample and relaxing beer garden. The pub offers a great beer selection and a variety of modern pub food. From my point of view the best feature of this pub is the beer garden where I've always found free tables. There's a good size parking lot and the clientele tends to be a mix of young people and families. Prices are standard for London

The Hendon

377 Hendon Way, London NW4 3LP, UK – 020 8202 6691

Friendly staff. Decent prices. Has a nice quite part to the place if you want a quiet night with your mates as well as snooker tables for a bit of fun.

The pub is quite large and divided up into various areas and would be nice but for all the TVs blaring out football. If your idea of fun is to sit qawping at a screen (they are everywhere in this pub) then this place is for you. If you want a conversation with your pint then good luck trying to find a noise-free corner. The bar staff are efficient, friendly and welcoming but the gents toilet is definitely not. It's surprising dark, grubby and badly laid out. I might pop in again if passing when there is no sport on the TV (does that ever happen?).

The Roebuck Hampstead

15 Pond St, Hampstead, London NW3 2PN, UK – 020 7435 7354

A favourite local pub that is directly opposite Royal Free Hospital. It's large and has seating in a variety of spots throughout. There is an enclosed outdoor area at the back with seating. The food is good and there are really nice bar snacks too. There is a Sunday roast selection. Not too many pubs like this left in the area. It's well run and friendly and can get very busy at times. Particularly at the weekend. On other occasions it can be quite quiet. A pub for all seasons.

Good solid pub, good outside space. Wouldn't go for food but perfect for a few drinks. Not as expensive as some pubs in the area.
