A good cinema if you like sitting on a sofa and eating a meal to watch a movie. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only drawback was the size of the side tables. If you plan on having popcorn as well as drinks and a burger with some fries then be prepared to do some maneuvering.
Staff accommodating. Was very hot when we went to see Mama Mia but that was probably the case anywhere you went in that heatwave. Lovely gesture and offer when they said if we found it too uncomfortable, they would defer the tickets to a latter date when it was cooler.

Fabulous cinema! One of the oldest cinemas in London. I have unforgettable time every time I am visiting. I enjoy the noncommercial atmosphere and the fact that rarely someone eats popcorn or makes a noise! If you haven't been yet it is MUST on your list. To add more, the staff is lovely, so polite and friendly. Thank you for my glasses of Point Noir!
Small cute cinema. We went for a film festival and it was perfect. Lovely old fashioned venue, good wines, great atmosphere. Superb location too, just 2’ away from the tube station.

Good cinema experience. Their Monday deal gives excellent value. Clean bathrooms, comfy seats, great sound systems. Plus the usual overpriced snacks.
Just seen Mama Mia in a comfortable air conditioned cinema. Service at ticket counter was friendly and efficient. Always a good night out.

A wonderful and charming theatre in the heart of Hampstead. Plays and workshops are held during the week. But on Sunday nights there's an excellent evening called The Moon At Night, with an eclectic mix of artists, poets, musicians and story tellers.
This is a long-running theatre above a pub in Hampstead. There are some steep stairs to access the theatre so no good for wheelchair users or those who struggle to climb stairs. The theatre space itself is quirky and a little dark as you clamber over pieces of set and the odd step to access your seat. However, Leonie will make you feel very welcome, you will be among other theatre enthusiasts and the quality of the production I saw was excellent. It's a bargain way to get your theatre fix.

Great little theatre. Top quality plays and musicals all year round. Friendly creative theatre. Recommended
Amazing to have this excellent small venue available locally above a pub. Puts on very entertaining productions, often high energy musicals and particularly good shows at Christmas. If you buy the tickets on line, you need to exchange your receipt for tickets at the box office. The seating is unallocated, so there's often a queue for the really popular performances. But usually there's pretty good views from all angles. You can take in drinks from the pub downstairs and there's a nice selection of ice-creams available at the interval. A great night out!
